AG DOLL SNUGGLE UP

SIZE:
Finished Width: 15 inches
Finished Length: 14 inches

MATERIALS:
Worsted Weight yarn approximately 4 ounces
US I (5.5 mm) crochet hook
Tapestry needle

GAUGE: 13 sc = 4 inches

NOTE: Ch 2 at beginning of rounds does not count as the first dc.

INSTRUCTIONS:

BODY:
Ch 48.

Row 1: Dc in 3rd ch from hook and in each ch across. (46 dc)

Rows 2-18: Ch 2, turn, dc in each st across. (46 dc)

DIVIDE FOR ARMHOLES:

RIGHT SIDE:

Row 19: Ch 2, turn, dc in first 11 sts. Leaving remaining sts unworked. (11 sts)

Rows 20-22: Ch 2, turn, dc in each st across. (11 sts)

Fasten off.

CENTER:
Row 19:
Skip next 5 unworked dc on Row 18 of Body, join yarn with slip st in next dc, ch 2, dc in next 14 dc. Leaving remaining sts unworked. (14 sts)

Rows 20-22: Ch 2, turn, dc in each dc across. (14 sts)

Fasten off.

LEFT SIDE:
Row 19:
Skip next 5 unworked dc on Row 18 of Body, join yarn with slip st in next dc, ch 1, dc in next 11 dc. (11 sts)

Rows 20-22: Ch 2, turn, dc in each dc across. (11 sts)
Fasten off.

SHAPE NECK AND SHOULDERS:
Row 23: Attach yarn in right hand side of row 22. Sc in 11 dc of Left Side, ch 2, sc in next 14 dc of Center, ch 2, sc in next 11 dc of Right Side.

Row 24: Ch 1, turn, sc in back loop only of each st and ch. (40 sts)
Row 25: Ch 1, turn, sc in front loop only of each st. (40 sts)
Row 26: Ch 1, turn, sc in back loop only of each st. (40 sts)

Fasten off.

SLEEVES:
Round 1:
With right side facing, join yarn with sc in center of 5 skipped sts at underarm of Body, ch 1, sc in next 2 st, 8 sc evenly along edge of 4 dc rows, sc in each ch on opposite side of next 2 chs, 8 sc evenly along edge of next 4 dc rows, sc in next 2 sts, join with slip st in first sc. (23 sts).

Round 2: Ch 1, sc in 2 sts, sc dec, sc in 16 sts, sc dec, sc in last st and join with a slip st in first sc. (21 sts)

Rounds 3-4: Ch 1, sc in each st around, join with slip st in first sc.

Rounds 5-8: Ch 2, dc in each st around, join with slip st in first dc.

Fasten off.

Repeat for second sleeve.

FINISHING
Weave in ends.
